AC Technician

In addition to technical responsibilities, the AC Technician will manage a small team of two persons, coordinating daily activities and ensuring maintenance tasks comply with company standards. This leadership role demands the ability to prepare detailed service reports, conduct regular inspections, and schedule maintenance activities on a consistent basis to prevent system failures. The technician will apply standard installation protocols carefully and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues swiftly. Providing excellent customer service by communicating clearly about system use and maintenance will be a key aspect of this job, enhancing client satisfaction and system longevity.
Responsibilities
 

• Respond promptly to customer complaints and requests for air conditioner repair and maintenance.
• Diagnose problems by asking relevant questions and assessing customer information to select appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install air conditioning units in various office and industrial environments following standard protocols and safety guidelines.
• Test newly installed and repaired air conditioners to confirm proper functionality and performance.
• Perform thorough maintenance activities such as cleaning filters, grills, and checking system components to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Educate customers on routine maintenance practices that they can perform independently to maintain optimal system operation.
• Replace air conditioning systems that are beyond repair with new units, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
• Provide customers with guidance on the operation of air conditioning systems to maximize comfort and energy efficiency.
• Maintain detailed daily activity logs and prepare service reports documenting all service calls and maintenance work performed.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checkups in coordination with senior team members.
• Clean outdoor units and filters regularly, replace filters based on condition to maintain air quality and system performance.
• Perform gas charging, system vacuuming, and leak repairs as needed following established standards and safety procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of two technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
