Job Description

Aausis is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses solid experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. This position requires a minimum of one year and up to five years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on accuracy and adherence to financial policies. The role does not involve managing a team but requires effective collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and timely processing of transactions. The Accounts professional will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. They will utilize their expertise in financial reporting and account management to support decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of Aausis. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to handle various accounting tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Manage accounts payable functions by processing invoices, verifying payment requests, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing customers, monitoring outstanding balances, and coordinating collections.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling financial information and assisting in the preparation of reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company procedures, and statutory regulations related to accounting and finance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and support efficient financial workflows.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records for audit and review purposes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improvements to accounting processes and systems.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash transactions while maintaining documentation and accuracy.
  • Provide timely and clear communication on financial status and issues to management and other relevant stakeholders.
