Accounts Assistant

Vision for Education Foundation (V4E) is dedicated to improving eye health among children and communities through initiatives such as school eye screenings, cornea transplantation, and donation awareness programs. We strive to enhance quality of life by delivering essential eye care services to those in need. Currently, we are looking for a committed Accounts Assistant with a minimum of three years of experience to support the financial operations of our organization. Candidates living in Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi, or nearby areas are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording all transactions systematically.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for management review.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Efficiently prepare and process invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts and promptly investigate any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and organizational policies.
- Provide support for other accounting and administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a non-governmental organization (NGO) environment is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This full-time, in-person position is based at our office located on Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, opposite Lal Kothi, Karachi. The working schedule is Monday to Saturday, with hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM for female employees and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM for male employees. The salary range for this role is Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month.
