Job Description

We are looking for a Deployment Engineer with a strong understanding of .NET applications, IIS deployment, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing code merges, deployments on IIS servers, and client communication while possessing basic coding knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Code Merging & Version Control:

• Merge code from different branches and ensure smooth integration.
• Work with Git, Azure DevOps, or SVN for version control.

Application Deployment:

• Deploy and configure ASP.NET applications on IIS servers.
• Manage application pools, bindings, and web configurations.
• Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues.

Database Management:

• Work with SQL Server, execute scripts, and perform basic database operations.
• Ensure database migrations and backups are properly handled.

Client Communication:

• Coordinate with clients for deployment schedules and issue resolution.
• Provide support during deployment and address concerns promptly.

Basic Development & Troubleshooting:

• Have a fundamental understanding of C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Debug and resolve minor issues in the code if required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with IIS server deployment & configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (basic queries, migrations, backups).
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
• Basic understanding of C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills for deployment and environment-related issues.
