After Sales Service Engineer

Position Summary

The After Sales Service Engineer provides high-quality technical and customer support through on-site and remote services. The role involves product pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and customer training, as well as supporting and training regional service engineers and service partners. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site field services, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
• Prepare service reports, fault analysis reports, and related technical documentation.
• Provide technical training and ongoing support to regional service engineers and service partners.
• Deliver remote technical assistance to customers via telephone and email.
• Coordinate with sales, project, and HQ technical teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure all field service activities comply with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company service procedures.
• Plan and coordinate service activities, working closely with internal teams to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail with effective follow-up skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility toward assigned work and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in a technical support or customer service role within the solar PV industry.
• Hands-on experience in PV inverter commissioning and repair.
