Assistant Chief Medical Officer

Role Description 

The Assistant Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) will be responsible for managing day-to-day medical operations, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care. Responsibilities include overseeing utilization management, aligning medical staff with the hospital's strategic goals, promoting compliance with healthcare regulations, and facilitating efficient medical decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division.

Qualifications 

• Strong background in Medicine with proven clinical expertise and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Experience in Utilization Management and Medical Affairs, particularly in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of Managed Care practices and processes, including familiarity with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Proficiency in Strategic Planning to align medical initiatives with hospital goals and improve overall healthcare delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to team management.
• Advanced degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant medical specialty is required.
• Previous experience in medical administration or a leadership role in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
