BASIC JOB FUNCTION (SUMMARY)

To execute and implement all activity as assign by Line Manager and also supervise team and gang for their work.

KEY RESULT AREAS / ACCOUNTABILITES / RESPONSIBILITES

To carry out the instruction given by Line Manager.
Supervise Tech/Non Tech down stream Staff.
Should be well conversant with Tools/Equipment etc.
Possess the knowledge of Electricity Act of Pakistan.
Should be capable to maintain discipline among the Staff to deal with inter departmental correspondence.
Must be capable of reading protection schemes as per instruction of A.M.
Must be able to carry out the assignments given by Superior Officers.
Able to carry out testing of Transformers, 11kV switchgear and various types of Protection Relays.
Proper handling of test Equiments.
Assist Line Manager during fault rectification and trouble shooting at various Grids.
Must be capable to read electrical drawings.
Have complete knowledge of safety rules and precautions and must be able to follow these urles and regulations.
Knowledge of computer is essential including MS Office
WORK RELATIONSHIPS

(Purpose and nature of working relationship, both inside and outside the Department, expected with the incumbents, immediate supervisor and subordinate.

With in KE   Out Side KE

No Direct work relationship is required,with time keeper officer for attendence. No Direct work relationship is required,

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB: 
Eduction H.Sc.(Science) or Equivalent 
Professtional DAE,Electrical Discipline from H.E.C Recognized Institute. 
Experience/Eligibility At least 2-3 years in a public sector utitlity or in a process industry as preffered however other experience holders are also encouraged to apply.

Others: Computer Skill Ms Office Ms Words and basic know how of Auto Cad is Encouraged. For fresh at least 01 year training in KE training centre is strongly recommended by possing which can result in a fatal accident on site. After completion of training the candidate can be inducted in the Depatment.
