Assistant Head of Department (Trainee)

ABS International is seeking a dedicated Assistant Head of Department (Sales) Trainee to join their team at the Gulistan-e-Johar Block 14 branch in Karachi. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to learn and grow within the sales department under the direct mentorship of the Head of Department (HOD). The role involves a training period of approximately 4 to 5 months, during which the candidate will gain hands-on experience in department operations, team management, and reporting. Upon successful completion of the training, the Assistant HOD will be responsible for supervising the sales department in the absence of the HOD. The position requires on-site presence with night shifts from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Department in managing daily sales operations and team activities.
- Learn and implement departmental processes, reporting, and team supervision during the training phase.
- Supervise and lead the sales team in the absence of the HOD, ensuring smooth workflow and achievement of targets.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and management.
- Support the department in meeting its sales goals and operational standards.

Required Qualifications
- Fluent and conversational English communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and management.
- Confident leadership presence and the ability to give clear instructions to team members.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office and Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and simple reports).
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to a long-term career role.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts on-site from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Limited prior experience is acceptable, as training will be provided.
