We are seeking an experienced and hands-on social media and community marketing professional to lead our digital presence and grow vibrant online communities. This role will play a key part in
developing and executing social media strategies, driving audience engagement, and fostering
community-led growth across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will bring proven results in
organic and paid social campaigns, influencer engagement, and community activation, with a strong focus on measurable impact and brand growth.
Expectations from the role:
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with business and campaign goals.
- Manage day-to-day operations for brand and founder profiles across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, etc.).
- Plan, create, and oversee engaging content calendars, including posts, stories, reels, and live sessions.
- Optimize content formats and hooks based on trends and competitor insights.
Community Marketing & Engagement
- Identify and grow relevant online communities (Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn Groups, niche forums) that align with brand personas.
- Seed valuable, non-spammy content and discussions to build trust and drive organic reach.
- Build relationships with key moderators, community leaders, and micro KOLs.
- Organize and execute community-driven activities such as AMAs, polls, webinars, or giveaways.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Track and analyze engagement metrics (impressions, reach, clicks, conversions).
- Benchmark performance against key competitors to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Run regular experiments to test new content formats and channels.
- Evaluate underperforming activities and adjust strategy for maximum impact.
Influencer & Partnership Collaboration
- Identify, onboard, and manage relevant influencers or creators for content amplification.
- Collaborate with partner brands or communities for co-marketing opportunities.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline content creation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Share learnings and build reusable playbooks to scale best practices across brands.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate junior team members and contractors.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and creative thinking.
- Organize workflows to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Align activities with broader brand and business objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Master degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience: 5–7 years of proven hands-on experience in social media and community
marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
Industry Background: Prior experience with consumer brands, tech, SaaS, gaming, or
cybersecurity preferred.
Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with major social media management tools, analytics
dashboards, and community platforms. Experience with AI content tools is a plus.
