Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Technician located in Karāchi. In this role, the Biomedical Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and maintain records of repairs and calibrations. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting tests to ensure equipment functionality, and collaborating with medical staff to address equipment needs effectively. The technician will also assist in implementing and monitoring procedures for electrical safety and ensure all equipment aligns with industry standards.

Qualifications

 

• Practical experience in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair processes
• Proficiency in handling and operating Medical Equipment with knowledge of relevant safety protocols
• Familiarity with Electrical Safety regulations and standards
• Strong understanding or background in Biomedical Engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with healthcare professionals
• Certification or degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is a plus.
