Blockchain Developer

Rising Star Enterprise LLC is seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer with a strong background in smart contract development, cryptography, blockchain architecture, consensus algorithms, decentralized applications, tokenization, and network protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing secure, high-performance blockchain solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of asynchronous programming and performance tuning to build scalable distributed systems. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative blockchain products and maintain robust backend services. The Blockchain Developer will focus on creating safe and efficient decentralized solutions by leveraging Rust programming expertise, emphasizing safe system architecture with minimal use of unsafe code. Responsibilities include designing APIs with reusable components, optimizing system performance, and ensuring top-level security by following best practices in cryptography and secure coding. The developer will continuously improve blockchain protocols and contribute to the evolving ecosystem of decentralized technologies within the companys rapidly growing environment.
Responsibilities
 

• Design and develop smart contracts that are secure, efficient, and compliant with project specifications.
• Architect and maintain robust backend systems using Rusts ownership and borrowing principles to prevent data races and promote memory safety.
• Optimize system performance by profiling and tuning memory usage on the heap and stack to handle high-concurrency workloads.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns with frameworks such as tokio or async-std to build scalable and responsive blockchain services.
• Design clean and reusable APIs employing Rust traits and generics to streamline code maintainability and extensibility.
• Conduct security audits of smart contracts and blockchain protocols to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Develop and integrate consensus algorithms and network protocols that ensure reliable and decentralized transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain compliance with the organizations zero-unsafe code policy by rigorously reviewing code for safety and security.
• Continuously research and apply advancements in blockchain technologies and cryptographic methods to enhance product offerings.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to building a culture of quality and best practices within the development team.
• Document technical designs, architectural decisions, and system workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
• Support troubleshooting and debugging to resolve technical issues promptly and maintain system stability.
• Work with decentralized application frameworks to integrate blockchain functionalities with user-facing platforms.
• Implement tokenization processes and smart asset management according to project requirements.
