Glover Bros are suppliers to the upholstery and soft furnishing trades. Established in London in 1899 the company moved to the West Country in 1981. We are now based near Taunton supplying customers all over the UK and beyond.
We sell to Re-upholsterers, furniture manufacturers, contract furnishers, antique restorers, cabinet makers, auto and marine trimmers, soft furnishers, loose cover makers, curtain fitters and designers, a wide variety of shops and colleges and teachers.
We stock all upholstery components and sewing materials in fact everything you might need in the practice of your craft. This includes tools and hardware, fabrics and trimmings, fillings, foam and linings, workroom sundries and haberdashery items and a large range of curtain tracks and poles.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth and manage key client relationships within the upholstery sector. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of upholstery materials (fabrics, leather, foam, trims) and a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly with furniture manufacturers, interior designers, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts within the upholstery and furniture industry
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to expand market presence
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Present and promote upholstery products including fabrics, foams, and accessories
- Understand client needs and provide tailored product solutions
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, design, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales/account management, preferably in upholstery, textiles, or furniture industry
- Strong understanding of upholstery materials and applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
