To coordinate and monitor daily cabin crew operations on a 24/7 shift basis, ensuring crew punctuality, operational readiness, documentation accuracy, and compliance with Air Arabia’s operational, safety, and regulatory standards. The role is operational and administrative in nature, focused on real-time coordination, compliance monitoring, reporting, and operational support.

Key Result Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate daily cabin crew operations to support on-time departures and continuity of flight operations.
  • Liaise with OCC, Crew Control, and Operations to manage crew replacements, standby activation, and operational changes.
  • Support cabin crew coverage during irregular operations, including delays, sickness, and crew shortages.
  • Act as the operational point of contact for cabin crew-related matters during assigned duty shifts.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight spot checks during daily briefings to verify: Crew attendance and punctuality, Validity of mandatory documentation, Uniform, grooming, and appearance compliance, adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations, escalating deviations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide real-time operational support to cabin crew during duty periods.
  • Coordinate resolution of on-board and ground passenger-related operational issues in collaboration with Flight Deck, OCC, Airport Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Ensure timely communication and escalation of safety, service, or operational concerns.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of: Crew attendance, Sick leave and operational absences, Standby usage and flight coverage
  • Prepare, update, and submit daily operational and performance reports to the respective Team Supervisor.

     

Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

  • Complete required incident reports, operational logs, and shift handover documentation.
  • Ensure accurate filing and record-keeping in line with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support in compiling operational data and observations for trend analysis and corrective follow-up.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate operational records and documentation.
  • Ensure all reports are completed accurately, clearly, and within required timelines.
  • Support onboarding of new cabin crew by providing operational guidance and mentoring during initial line operations.
  • Ensure effective shift handover by communicating key operational issues, risks, and pending actions to incoming supervisors.
  • Carry out any other operational duties as assigned to support the smooth and safe conduct of cabin crew operations.

     

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Exposure to irregular operations and real-time operational decision support is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, resilience, and accountability, with the ability to remain calm, detail-oriented, and solution-focused in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Ability to travel as required for operational or training purposes.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, cabin crew processes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment and a safety-focused mindset.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluent in English Language.
  • Proficient in airline operational and crew management systems., with ability to extract, compile, interpret, and report operational data clearly and accurately.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for operational and incident reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage operational logs, reports, and shift handovers efficiently.
  • High attention to detail with accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance.

     

Work Experience

  • 4 years of experience in airline operations, cabin crew operations, crew control, or operations support.
  • Experience coordinating with Flight Operations, Crew Control, Training, Safety, and HR departments.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and be on-call as required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple operational issues in a time-sensitive, high-pressure environment.
