Cashier

Khanzada Hotel is seeking a dedicated Cashier with 12 years of managerial experience to join our team. The successful candidate will handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. This role involves managing payment processing, operating cash registers, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service. In addition to cashier duties, the candidate will manage a team of five persons, overseeing daily activities, providing guidance, and ensuring smooth workflow. Leadership and team management skills are essential to successfully coordinate operations and maintain high standards of service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
 

• Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain detailed and accurate transaction records and prepare reports as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Manage and supervise a team of five staff members, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Train new team members on cashier procedures and customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and cash handling procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor inventory of supplies related to cashier operations and place orders when necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations within the hotel.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to management when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier workspace.
• Implement procedures to reduce errors and prevent fraud or theft.
• Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation tasks as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial and safety regulations.
