We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently at our garments store.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining basic accounting records. If you have a background in retail sales and a strong grasp of computer operations, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management: Handle cash, cheque, and credit card transactions using the POS system.
Customer Service: Greet customers, scan items, ensure pricing is accurate, and issue receipts/refunds.
Basic Accounting: Maintain daily records of sales, balance the cash drawer at the end of shifts, and prepare daily sales reports.
Inventory Coordination: Assist in tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies to management.
Computer Operations: Utilize MS Excel and retail software to log data and manage store records.
