Wps Procurement Service is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our team. This role involves accurately entering and verifying data to ensure the integrity and reliability of information within our database systems. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in data entry and database management, demonstrating strong attention to detail and proficiency in data verification processes. This position is fully remote, requiring a reliable internet connection and personal laptop to perform daily tasks efficiently and securely. The role does not involve managing a team and focuses primarily on individual contribution to maintain high standards of data accuracy.

Responsibilities

 

• Enter data accurately into company databases and spreadsheets in a timely manner.
• Verify the accuracy of data by cross-checking with source documents and correcting discrepancies.
• Maintain and update database systems to ensure information remains current and accessible.
• Perform regular data quality checks to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies.
• Organize and manage electronic and physical files to streamline data retrieval processes.
• Use database software and other data entry tools to input, update, and extract information as needed.
• Adhere to data confidentiality and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate remotely with team members and supervisors to clarify data requirements and report progress.
• Troubleshoot minor data entry issues and escalate technical problems to the appropriate department.
• Assist in generating reports and summaries based on entered data for decision-making purposes.
