Deputy Manager Finance / Accounts

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager of Finance / Account at S.Zia ul Haq & Sons Pvt.(Ltd). The role involves day-to-day financial management tasks, overseeing accounts, providing customer service related to financial matters, managing sales finances, and leading a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely & accurate filling of all tax returns (income tax & sales tax)
• Manage & respond to tax notices & correspondence received from tax authorities effectively
• Assist in tax planning & advising the management on the implication of tax regulation on business operation
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all tax-related transactions, including invoices, receipts, and documentation supporting tax deductions and credits.
• Preparation of company final accounts and e-filing of tax returns in consultation with tax consultant.
• Finalization and e-filing of SST return and coordination with Billing and finance for its execution.
• Execution of site visits for all operational costs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.
• Ensure deduction of taxes as per FBR and SBR rules
• Ensure compliance with all local & & federal tax laws, minimizing the risk of penalties or legal issues

Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus

Experience:

• 7 to 8 years of experience in tax Payable or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
