Job Description

To unify, lead, and grow The Company's Pakistan-based team across engineering, support, operations, and administration, serving as a high-accountability, cross-functional leader who bridges U.S. strategy with Pakistani execution-ensuring clarity, coordination, and culture alignment across borders. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, performance evaluations, team development, and serving as a bridge between the Pakistani team and the US-based team. The focus will be on supporting the company's business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of employees in various roles, including performance reviews, goal setting, and professional development
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between the Pakistani team and US headquarters, including regular reporting and alignment on company objectives
  • Oversee local operations, compliance with Pakistani regulations, and optimization of processes for efficiency
  • Identify and implement improvements in team structure, workflows, and resource allocation
  • Foster a positive work culture that respects local customs while adhering to global standards
  • Travel as needed for team building, training, or meetings with US leadership

Key Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of senior management experience, preferably in tech, AgTech, IoT, or software development industries
  • Proven experience working with US-based companies, including remote collaboration and understanding of US business practices
  • Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and scaling up teams in Pakistan, with a deep understanding of local culture, labor laws, and business environment
  • Familiar with KPIs, OKRs, or other performance frameworks

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, IoT systems, environmental controls, or AgTech solutions (preferred)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Zoho, Jira, Project, Basecamp)
  • Strong understanding of software development, operations, manufacturing, or support processes relevant to The Company's products

Soft Skills

  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Able to make operational decisions and implement systems
  • Problem-solving mindset with strategic thinking capabilities

  • Must be authorized to work in Pakistan
