Job Overview

The Dispatch Assistant is responsible for assisting in warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision, and effective communication with team members. This position also requires adherence to food safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Physically verify finished cartons against the production report and hand them over to the HOD with a transfer note.
• Receive cartons ready for delivery from the sorting department, ensuring documentation with a transfer note.
• Create barcodes for finished cartons and ensure traceability by scanning and sharing data with the Quality Control (QC) department.
• Inspect finished cartons before delivery to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Receive customer orders from the HOD and prepare the delivery order.
• Record batch numbers and forward them to the QC department for Certificates of Conformance (COC) or Certificates of Analysis (COA).
• Properly store finished cartons in the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
• Verify the fitness of delivery vehicles and check drivers' licenses before out-of-city deliveries, maintaining a delivery vehicle checklist.
• Supervise loading and wrapping of cartons, replacing damaged cartons with fresh ones as needed.
• Create stickers for finished cartons at the time of delivery.
• Perform periodic physical stock checks.
• Ensure work is carried out safely under the supervision of the HOD, following food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to compliance standards.
• Complete tasks within the expected time frame.
• Report to work with good attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Age Limit: 25-35 years
• Industry Experience: Food & Beverage / Pharmaceutical / Packaging
• Education: Intermediate or Graduate
• Experience: 3 to 4 years in a similar role
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of food safety and ISO standards
• Computer literacy
• Problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to report unsafe practices
• Familiarity with health and safety procedures
