· Maintaining financial records, preparing accounts, and ensuring compliance with Sindh Treasury Rules, Financial Rules, and departmental procedures. The role supports budget management, auditing, and financial reporting for government departments.
· Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and registers in accordance with government accounting rules.
· Prepare vouchers, bills, receipts, and other financial documents for departmental expenditures.
· Assist in budget preparation, allocation, and monitoring of funds.
· Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Verify and reconcile accounts, cash books, and bank statements.
· Support audit processes by providing required documentation and clarifications.
· Maintain records of advances, recoveries, and outstanding dues.
Ensure compliance with Sindh Treasury Rules, Financial Rules, and departmental SOPs.
