Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Technician at Synergy Corporation, located in Karachi Division. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and carrying out maintenance and repairs as needed. The role is critical for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems, power generation equipment, and other assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service and technical support during field visits.
• Handle on-site installation, electrical repair, and maintenance work within the assigned territory.
• Conduct client demonstrations when required.
• Diagnose electrical faults and technical issues, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare timely and detailed service reports.
• Submit work orders, expense reports, and timesheets to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with technical team members and share updates with management.
• Evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, and upgrade purposes.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis before proceeding with repairs or maintenance.
• Have knowledge of AVR, alternator, and megger testing.
• Be familiar with genset module programming and electrical control systems.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable services accordingly.
• Analyze, evaluate, and diagnose technical problems effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff when needed.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service.
• Respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty contracts, installation reports, and other service documents to senior management.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
• Advise management regarding continued use of unsuitable equipment or appliances.
• Coordinate with coordinators regarding equipment-related matters.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in ASM (After Sales Maintenance)
• Strong hands-on experience in Genset troubleshooting and maintenance
• Field service experience preferred.
