We are looking for a seasoned ERP Practice Lead (Odoo) to drive our regional ERP consulting and implementation practice, ensuring successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and continuous innovation.

Position Overview

The ERP Practice Lead – Odoo will be responsible for leading the Odoo practice across multiple industry verticals. The role involves strategic leadership, solution design, project delivery oversight, and team development. The candidate will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Odoo and will collaborate with pre-sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute the Odoo Practice growth roadmap aligned with DPS’s enterprise strategy.
• Develop standardized implementation methodologies, templates, and quality frameworks.
• Oversee pre-sales solutioning, client demos, and proposal support for new opportunities.
• Manage partner relationships with Odoo SA, regional partners, and technology vendors.
• Identify and build reusable solutions, accelerators, and industry-specific Odoo modules.

2. Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead requirement analysis and solution architecture design for Odoo implementations.
• Map business processes to Odoo modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
• Define integration frameworks with third-party systems (CRM, BI, Payment Gateways, etc.).
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security best practices in all deployments.

3. Project Management & Delivery

• Oversee multiple concurrent ERP projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Support the PMO in defining milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.
• Conduct design and UAT reviews and ensure adherence to Odoo Enterprise standards.
• Establish post-implementation support frameworks and continuous improvement cycles.

4. Team Leadership & Development

• Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary ERP team including Functional Consultants, Developers, and Business Analysts.
• Conduct internal training and certification programs to upskill team members.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centric delivery.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary escalation point for Odoo projects and key accounts.
• Manage executive-level communication and stakeholder reporting.
• Ensure high client satisfaction scores through consistent value delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Minimum 4–6 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in Odoo ERP (Enterprise or Odoo.sh).
• Deep functional understanding of key Odoo modules:
• Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, Projects, CRM, POS, eCommerce.
• Proven experience in end-to-end Odoo implementations (preferably across multiple sectors).
• Strong grasp of business process reengineering, data migration, and integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Odoo Studio, APIs, XML, Python customizations, and QWeb reports.

Leadership & Managerial Skills

• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional ERP teams and managing client portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in pre-sales, budgeting, proposal writing, and resource management.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and documentation abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Odoo Functional/Technical Certification preferred.
• PMP/Prince2 or Agile Scrum certification is a plus.
