Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities. Primary goal is to create a safe, productive, and comfortable environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and coordination of various tasks related to facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facility Operations:

  • Supervise day-to-day facility operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all systems and services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance, safety, and security issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for necessary repairs and maintenance work.

2. Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain open communication with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and budget status.
  • Provide regular reports to management on facility performance and key metrics.
  • Communicate with department heads and employees regarding facility-related matters.

3. Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor expenses related to maintenance, utilities, and other facility services.

4. Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance facility management processes, such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

5. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage facility staff, including janitorial and maintenance personnel.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Facility Management, engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in facility management tools and software.
