Factory Manager - Rice Processing Unit (Port Qasim)

A well-established rice milling company based in Port Qasim, Karachi, is seeking an experienced and proactive Factory Manager to lead its operations. This key leadership position requires a professional with deep knowledge of rice mill processes and export operations, capable of driving efficient production while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure smooth and efficient production workflows. Maintain rigorous quality control measures that meet international standards. Manage export-related activities, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and trade requirements. Collaborate with various departments to optimize production schedules and resource allocation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting productivity and reducing operational costs. Develop and manage factory staff, promoting a positive and safe working environment. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines within the facility. Provide regular reports to senior management detailing operational performance, challenges, and improvement plans.

Required Qualifications
An MBA from a recognized university or a Master’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field is essential. Candidates must have 5 to 8 years of senior leadership experience in the rice industry, particularly with a focus on exports and general mill operations. Proven leadership skills with a strong track record in managing teams effectively are required. Excellent communication abilities are necessary to liaise efficiently with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in export operations and a thorough understanding of international trade requirements within the rice sector will be highly valued. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs400,000. This is a full-time role based at the Port Qasim facility, with travel requirements as needed.
