Role Description The Fiction Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division. Looking for an experienced Developmental + Line Editor for a fiction novel.

Project includes:

Developmental editing

Line editing

Grammar & punctuation

Character consistency

Worldbuilding

Timeline/plot consistency

Dialogue, pacing and readability

You will receive:

Full manuscript

Character profiles

Storyboard/brainstorming reference

Requirements:

Experience editing fiction

Strong English

Good understanding of storytelling and character development

Able to give useful feedback while keeping the author’s original voice

Able to identify inconsistencies without changing the story without approval
