We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to join our team and manage a variety of accounting and financial tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. This position demands strong analytical abilities, proficiency in accounting software, and the capacity to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Post and review daily accounting entries using XERO, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including proper deductions and reconciliations.
- Manage expense and accrual bookings efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable settlements along with their reconciliations.
- Conduct intercompany transaction reconciliations to maintain consistency across different entities.
- Process payments promptly for vendors and media partners.
- Maintain accurate records of client accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate seamless financial processes.
- Ensure timely matching of receipts and payments with corresponding invoices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Partly qualified ACCA or CMA certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with UK finance or accounting practices is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with XERO accounting software is a plus.

Work Details

- Shift timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Location: Block 2, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi
- Employment type: Full-time, on-site position
- Salary range: Rs50,000 to Rs60,000 per month
- Expected start date: October 10, 2025
