Floor Incharge Stitching and Packing (Towel)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Floor Incharge to lead the Stitching and Packing section of our Towel Division, located in the SITE Area, Rasheedabad, Karachi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in textile manufacturing, particularly in towel production, with at least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience. A graduation degree from an HEC-recognized university is required. This role demands a proactive and hands-on leader who can manage daily stitching operations, uphold product quality, and drive operational efficiency on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the stitching process to ensure the production of high-quality towel products.
- Develop and implement floor management strategies aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
- Monitor stitching operations and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate and timely completion of floor closing reports in both physical and digital formats.
- Utilize technical expertise in cutting, stitching, and packing processes to support and meet production targets.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies or issues, and take corrective actions to reduce production losses.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical skills and maintain high workforce motivation.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflows and ensure smooth production processes.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols and quality standards throughout all stages of stitching and packing.

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an HEC-recognized university.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in textile manufacturing, specifically in towel construction.
- Strong technical knowledge of towel construction, including stitching techniques and processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a team.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing stitching and packing operations.
