Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Officer responsible for managing the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate possesses a Phlebotomy or Lab Technician Diploma and demonstrates strong customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth administrative processes at the front desk. The Front Desk Officer supports appointment scheduling, patient registration, and effective customer relationship management with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. The position does not involve managing a team but requires working collaboratively with healthcare staff to maintain operational efficiency. The Front Desk Officer contributes to the overall patient experience by handling inquiries, managing patient records accurately, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate prompt and efficient service. Attention to detail and a respectful approach towards patients and visitors are essential. The position demands a proactive attitude in addressing challenges and streamlining front desk operations, while upholding Chughtai Healthcares standards for quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
 

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Register patients by collecting and verifying personal and medical information accurately.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using computer systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person with clear and helpful communication.
  • Coordinate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and timely sample collection.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary forms and provide information about healthcare services offered.
  • Manage customer relationship management databases to track patient interactions and feedback.
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies and documentation.
  • Support billing and payment processes by providing patients with relevant information and receipts.
  • Identify and report any operational issues or patient concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for handling sensitive patient data and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Use basic computer skills to operate appointment scheduling software and other administrative tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve front desk procedures and patient service quality.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while representing Chughtai Healthcares values and mission.
