About the Role

We are seeking a Functional Lead to oversee the delivery and quality of one of our Accounting department. This is a critical leadership role for a night-shift professional who will be responsible for the final review of financial statements, managing the month-end close cycle, and ensuring the technical accuracy of the team's output. You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for US GAAP and specific accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level reviews of financial statements, trial balances, and general ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Lead and streamline the month-end closing process, ensuring all accruals, provisions, and adjusting entries are posted accurately and deadlines are met.
• Act as the final checkpoint for complex reconciliations, including bank, escrow, and tenant security deposits, resolving any high-priority discrepancies.
• Identify bottlenecks in the BPO accounting workflow and implement best practices to improve delivery speed and data accuracy.
• Supervise a team of Associates, providing technical guidance, conducting quality audits of their work, and fostering their professional development.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of demonstrable professional experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory or "reviewer" capacity. BPO experience serving US clients is highly preferred.

Professional/Academic Qualification (Mandatory):

• ACCA Member/Qualified.
• CA Finalist or Qualified (ICAP).
• ICMA Qualified
• Graduates from top Universities are highly preferred for their strong communication and analytical foundations.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Must be fully comfortable working permanent night shifts to support US-based clientele.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for engaging with international stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and advanced proficienc
