The client operates multiple Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands in the health, wellness, and skincare space, generating 7-figure monthly revenue.
The business is built on direct response marketing, aggressive creative testing, and conversion-focused funnel optimisation. Customers are primarily US-based adults aged 40+ who value clarity, trust, and practical results.
Internally, the client runs a performance-first, test-and-iterate culture. Design decisions are driven by conversion data and user behaviour, not aesthetics or brand trends.
Role Overview
This is a CRO Designer role, not a brand or visual identity position.
You will be responsible for designing conversion-driven funnels and page layouts that support paid traffic and high-volume testing. Your work directly impacts conversion rate, revenue per visitor, and funnel efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with CRO Managers and Developers to design, test, iterate, and improve funnel performance quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Conversion-Focused Design
- Design landing pages, PDPs, checkout pages, and upsell/downsell flows
- Create layouts optimised for paid traffic and mobile-first users
- Reduce friction across key funnel steps through clear hierarchy and flow
Testing & Iteration
- Produce design variants for A/B testing
- Iterate designs based on test results and user behaviour data
- Support fast experimentation through reusable and scalable design systems
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with CRO Managers to translate test hypotheses into designs
- Collaborate with Developers to ensure designs are practical and test-ready
- Provide clear design rationale tied to conversion goals
Required Experience
Must-Have
- Proven CRO-focused design experience for DTC e-commerce
- Funnel and landing page design experience
- (Checkout Champ / Funnelish strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of direct response and conversion principles
- Experience designing for mobile-first, paid traffic environments
- Comfortable working in fast testing cycles with frequent feedback
Nice-to-Have
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience working alongside CRO or growth teams at scale
Tools & Stack
You should be confident using:
- Figma
- Checkout Champ and/or Funnelish
- Google Sheets (tracking tests and iterations)
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding (nice to have)
