Job Summary:

The Group Product Manager (GPM) will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of product portfolios within assigned therapeutic areas. This role includes overseeing brand management, leading a team of Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (PMs), and ensuring alignment with company goals. The GPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage key relationships with stakeholders, and maintain focus on driving brand growth, market positioning, and long-term success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Area Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution for assigned therapeutic areas to drive brand growth and market share.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end brand management, develop brand strategies, and monitor brand performance to ensure market success.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (PMs), ensuring effective execution and development.

Strategic Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and adjust brand strategies.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with sales, regulatory, medical, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and messaging.

KOL & Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external stakeholders to drive brand influence.

Events Management:

  • Plan and execute key events (congresses, symposia) to promote the brand and engage with stakeholders.

Market Leadership:

  • Define strategic positioning of products, ensuring differentiation and competitive advantage in the market.

 

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).
  • 6-8 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years in Sales.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and leading teams, particularly APMs and PMs.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with KOLs and managing external partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Experience in managing events and conferences.
