To lead and ensure seamless, secure, and standardized operations across all CPC facilities. The Head of Operations is responsible for cash handling discipline, staff management, client ledger accuracy, vault security, digital documentation, operational compliance, and continuous improvement of systems, machines, and processes.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Management & Control

Ensure disciplined, smooth, and transparent sorting and processing operations.

Maintain a secure, organized, and professional work environment across all units.

Implement uniform standards for working dress code and hygiene.

Manage secure cash holding areas and vaults with proper documentation and access control.

Ensure proper sorting environment with continuous monitoring of sorting performance.

Digital Documentation & Reporting

Ensure complete digital documentation and archiving of all operational activities.

Maintain accurate client-wise ledgers and transaction history.

Implement digitalization of operational processes and innovate systems for efficiency.

Ensure timely and structured reporting to senior management.

Security & Compliance

Maintain physical security of CPC premises in coordination with the Security department.

Oversee insurance management for cash, equipment, and premises.

Enforce compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SBP, internal SOPs).

Employee Management & Development

Foster employee confidence, professionalism, and team discipline.

Plan and deliver regular training sessions for operational and support staff.

Propose employee benefits and incentive programs to retain and motivate staff.

Ensure fair and transparent HR practices in coordination with the HR department.

Technical Oversight & Maintenance

Oversee machine maintenance schedules and performance.

Manage upgrades of machines and system software for improved efficiency.

Ensure proper appointment, supervision, and performance of technical teams.

Lead the setup and operations of an in-house workshop for machine servicing.

Procurement & Cost Management

Monitor consumables stock and usage; ensure check-and-balance protocols.

Lead cost-effective procurement of consumables and technical equipment.

Ensure optimal resource utilization without compromising operational quality.

Field Oversight

Conduct routine visits to regional CPC branches to audit operations and address issues.

Provide on-ground support during critical periods (e.g., Eid, financial year-end).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Timely completion of sorting and dispatch activities

Zero critical cash handling or vault breaches

Staff discipline and training session attendance

Accuracy of client ledgers and digital records

Machine uptime and preventive maintenance rate

Cost reduction in consumables without quality compromise

Successful implementation of process digitalization and innovation initiatives

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

8–12 years of experience in high-security cash processing or operations environment

Knowledge of SBP and banking regulations for cash handling

Experience with note-sorting equipment and technical oversight

Required Skills:

Strong leadership and discipline enforcement

Excellent planning and organizational skills

High integrity, transparency, and decision-making capability

Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and operational ERP systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
