Job Description

HRSG - Innovative Business Solutions is looking for a skilled professional to manage landside transport operations for a leading client in the shipping industry. This full-time role, based in Clifton, Karachi, involves overseeing truck and rail transport of cargo and containers. The position is offered on an annual renewable contract and is ideal for candidates with experience in cargo, logistics, or shipping who are dedicated to maintaining efficient and seamless transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the entire intermodal shipment lifecycle by working closely with customers, truckers, and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through both proactive planning and reactive issue resolution. Manage landside transport modalities, focusing on truck and rail movement of cargo and containers. Coordinate with truckers, depots, and terminals to guarantee the availability of required equipment. Facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients by liaising between clients and internal operations teams.

Required Qualifications
A relevant bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Candidates must have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in cargo, logistics, or shipping operations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required to support operational tasks.

This role requires the candidate to be present on-site in Karachi. The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs140,000. A hands-on approach is necessary to manage transport operations efficiently and ensure client satisfaction through effective coordination and problem-solving.
