The Hunar Foundation (THF) is looking for a committed Instructor - Plumbing to join its Nokkundi (RDMC) Campus on a full-time, in-person basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in plumbing, following the approved curriculum. This role demands hands-on expertise in plumbing systems and a strong dedication to supporting student development and preparing them for industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive training that covers installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems. Teach students how to read technical drawings, take precise measurements, select appropriate fittings, and use plumbing tools and equipment effectively. Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and hygiene standards in both workshops and classrooms. Prepare detailed lesson plans, practical schedules, assessments, and other training materials to facilitate student learning. Conduct regular assessments and practical tests while maintaining accurate academic records. Monitor student attendance, discipline, and performance, offering mentorship and guidance as needed. Manage workshop tools, equipment, and inventory, promptly reporting any repair or replacement needs. Support students in developing employability skills, workplace ethics, and overall readiness for the industry. Collaborate closely with Academic and Placement teams to monitor student progress and strengthen industry connections. Actively participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, audits, and continuous improvement efforts. Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager to help achieve institutional goals.
Required Qualifications
A Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or an equivalent diploma in Plumbing, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field is essential. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of practical experience working in plumbing within industrial, residential, or commercial environments.
