The Division

CampSite, a division of Constellation Software Inc, the most advanced software for camp management out there. With input from camp directors, our team of developers worked to create a product with an intuitive user interface designed to suit the needs of administrators, parents and staff alike.

The Position

The division is looking for an Integration Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable integrations between internal systems and third-party applications using PHP and REST APIs in a LAMP stack.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements, define data flows, and ensure smooth implementation.
Develop and optimize APIs to ensure seamless communication between different systems.
Implement and manage integrations with third-party platforms such as QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Daxko, BlackBaud, and others.
Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and company standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to system integrations and third-party services.
Monitor integration performance and implement improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.
Maintain documentation for integration processes, including API usage, data mapping, and workflow explanations.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in software development and integration technologies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PHP and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Strong knowledge of REST API development and best practices.
Familiarity with integration tools and third-party services such as QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Daxko, BlackBaud, or other similar platforms.
Experience with OAuth and other authentication mechanisms for third-party integrations.
Ability to work with MySQL databases and knowledge of data mapping and transformation.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS for scalable integrations.
Familiarity with message queues, primarily AWS SQS for asynchronous processing.
Understanding of webhooks and event-driven architecture.
Previous experience with data migrations or ETL processes.
