Purpose of the Job:

To ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the organization's enterprise network infrastructure by designing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco-based routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies, enabling seamless connectivity, reliable communication, and uninterrupted business operations across all locations.


 

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, configure, and support Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies.

· Administer and maintain Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.

· Monitor enterprise-wide network connectivity across all branches to ensure high availability and reliability.

· Manage and support managed wireless network infrastructure.

· Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS concepts.

· Hand-on experience of IOS upgrades and patch management on network

· Provide network-related support to end users, ensuring timely issue resolution.

· Coordinate with ISPs and networks service providers to resolve connectivity and link-related issues.

· Hands-on support and administration of VOIP solutions,

· Maintain regular configuration backups of all network devices.

· Manage and maintain network monitoring and performance tools.

· Ensure secure and reliable network access for remote users.

· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of active and passive network components.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to support project planning and execution.


 

Eductaion & Experience:

  • BS/BE in Computer Science & CCNA Certified
  • 2 - 3 Years


 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance management platforms
  • Hands-on experience with IOS upgrades, patch management, and network device maintenance
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking with the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently
  • Attention to detail in maintaining configuration backups and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills for effective liaison with ISPs and service providers
  • Customer-service orientation with a commitment to timely end-user support
