Junior Web Developer

We are looking for a talented PHP Developer with a strong focus on back-end development and hands-on experience with WordPress to join our team full-time and on-site. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and redesigning custom WordPress websites as well as building solutions based on PHP frameworks. This position demands a detail-oriented professional capable of transforming graphic designs into fully functional web themes and integrating data from various back-end services to ensure smooth website performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and redesign custom websites using WordPress and PHP frameworks.
- Convert graphic designs and raw images into CSS/XHTML themes that align with project specifications.
- Integrate data from multiple back-end services and databases to maintain seamless functionality across platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine technical specifications and project requirements.
- Manage website page layouts and content placement based on user input and design guidelines.
- Design and implement relational database schemas to support application needs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates on existing websites and applications to ensure optimal performance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in PHP back-end development with a solid understanding of server-side scripting.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Intermediate to advanced experience working with WordPress, including theme and plugin development.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter or Symfony is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and working knowledge of data formats like JSON and XML will be considered an advantage.
