Role Description

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server infrastructure including Dell PowerEdge, HP, Blade Servers, and HCI environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Support virtualization management including VMware ESXi, vCenter, and Citrix environments; create and manage virtual machines, perform VM migrations (vMotion), monitor capacity, and coordinate host maintenance activities.
• Manage backup and recovery operations using Veeam Backup & Replication, including scheduling, retention planning, restore testing, and supporting disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, including user/group management, GPO implementation, DNS support, access control enforcement, and adherence to security best practices.
• Monitor system health, logs, and performance; handle incidents and outages, perform root-cause analysis, manage patching and firmware updates, coordinate with vendors/OEMs, and maintain accurate documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure support.

Preferred Certifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft Windows Server or Azure (Associate Level)
• Dell EMC Server or Infrastructure certifications
• Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
