Job Summary:

We're looking for a Logistics Executive to support and manage logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Detention & Invoicing Knowledge: Solid understanding of detention invoicing procedures, including waiver application, billing based on BL-wise free days, and reconciled volume invoicing for intermodal (PPCT train) movements.
Terminal & Depot Coordination: Familiarity with storage reporting (SAPT), equipment stock monitoring, and depot-related data handling.
Analytical Reporting: Proficiency in preparing and analyzing container rental performance reports, unclear abandoned cargo summaries, and weekly equipment/gate-out updates.
Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis for report preparation and reconciliation tasks.
System Adaptability: Quick learner with the ability to operate and navigate systems such as OV-CAR, IBOX, and internal costing sheets effectively.
Customer Handling: Ability to independently manage customer and internal stakeholder queries related to free days, invoice amounts, or waiver cases.
Cross-Functional Support: Flexibility to act as backup for export detention focal and actively support peers through training and shared knowledge.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to propose practical solutions to customer issues, improve workflows, and contribute to customer-centric enhancements.
Effective Communication: Strong email correspondence and interpersonal communication skills for engaging with finance, sales, terminals, depots, and principal offices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or Business Administration, Management related field
3 years of experience in shipping or marine logistics
Strong knowledge of port operations and international shipping procedures
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with office management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
