About the Position

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal sales teams and external vendors to uphold timely deliveries, maintain documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with all import/export regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the supply chain operations of a dynamic, growth-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update shipment trackers for Gatronova shipments currently in transit.
• Ensure prompt receipt of purchase orders and delivery addresses from the sales team for DAP (Delivered at Place) deliveries.
• Distribute shipping and customs clearance documents to designated clearing agents.
• Actively coordinate with clearing agents and customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance.
• Retrieve and confirm the Last Free Date (LFD) from carriers to avoid demurrage charges.
• Organize and schedule transportation aligned with delivery commitments and customer requirements.
• Oversee container pickups and manage the return of empty containers within LFD limits.
• Ensure effective, ongoing communication with stakeholders including sales, vendors, and clearing agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in international logistics, customs clearance, or freight coordination.
• Strong understanding of import and export operations.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and customs clearance processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate transportation and track international shipments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using shipment tracking tools and relevant logistics systems.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a logistics background with excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work during North American timings (night shift: 4:00 PM to 12:15 AM PKT).
• Preference was initially for non-Muslim candidates, but this is no longer a restriction.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong spoken English and adaptability for international coordination.
