Machine Operator - CNC Laser Cutting

We are looking for a skilled CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-precision metal components. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Select and load appropriate materials onto the machine.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, power, and focus, for optimal cutting performance.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on the laser machine.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to optimize workflow and productivity.

Requirements:

• Experience in operating CNC laser cutting machines (preferably in an industrial or metal fabrication setting).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and material properties (metals, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Experience with software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CNC programming.
