Position Summary:

The Market Research/Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and entering data to support our market research efforts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to create and refine data extraction criteria. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI is essential to ensure accurate reporting and effective data visualization.


 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Extraction and Analysis:

- Gather data from various sources based on established and self-created criteria.

- Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to market research objectives.

2. Data Entry and Management:

- Accurately input data into databases and spreadsheets while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

- Maintain organized records of all research data, ensuring easy retrieval and reporting.

3. Criteria Development:

- Develop and refine criteria for data extraction to enhance the relevance and quality of market research.

- Collaborate with team members to understand specific research needs and tailor data collection strategies accordingly.

4. Reporting and Visualization:

- Utilize Power BI to create dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate research findings.

- Generate regular reports to summarize data insights and present them to stakeholders.

5. Market Research Support:

- Assist in the design and implementation of market research studies, including surveys and focus groups.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

6. Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide support for ongoing projects.

- Communicate findings and insights effectively to team members and stakeholders.

7. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct regular audits of data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Implement best practices for data management and reporting.

8. Professional Development:

- Stay updated on market research trends and data analysis techniques.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.


 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in market research and data entry (1+ years preferred).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and interpret data effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Power BI.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Average communication skills, both verbal and written.
