Position Overview: The Marketing and Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and branding initiatives to enhance the institution’s visibility, reputation, enrollment, and attractiveness as an employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Institutional Branding:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and branding strategies to promote the institution’s academic programs, culture, values, and achievements.
    • Ensure consistent institutional and employer brand messaging across all platforms and touchpoints.
    • Oversee creation of marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, advertisements, videos, and presentations.
    • Manage website content related to academics, admissions, campus life, and careers.
  • Employer Branding and Talent Marketing:
    • Develop and execute employer branding strategies to position the institution as an employer of choice.
    • Collaborate with HR and leadership to promote faculty and staff value propositions, culture, benefits, and career opportunities.
    • Create and manage employer-focused content for the website, social media, job portals, and recruitment campaigns.
    • Support recruitment marketing efforts through compelling storytelling, testimonials, and visual content.
    • Track and analyze employer branding metrics such as applicant engagement and talent pipeline quality.
  • Digital Marketing and Communications:
    • Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms for admissions, outreach, and employer branding.
    • Coordinate email communications for prospective students, parents, alumni, and job candidates.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Outreach and Admissions Support:
    • Plan and execute outreach initiatives including school visits, college fairs, open houses, and information sessions.
    • Build and maintain relationships with counselors, community organizations, and industry partners.
    • Collaborate with admissions teams to support recruitment and enrollment goals.
    • Represent the institution at education fairs, outreach events, and professional forums.
  • Community and Public Relations:
    • Strengthen relationships with local organizations, media, and professional networks.
    • Coordinate press releases, announcements, and media communications.
    • Support leadership with reputation management, public messaging, and stakeholder communications.
  • Planning and Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage marketing, outreach, and employer branding budgets.
    • Identify cost-effective marketing channels and partnerships.
    • Manage external vendors, agencies, designers, photographers, and printers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing, branding, outreach, or communications (education sector experience preferred).
  • Experience with employer branding or recruitment marketing is highly desirable.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
