Medical Officer

The Indus Hospital & Network is seeking a Medical Officer – Clinical Affairs (Surgical Daycare). The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting patient rounds with the primary team and ensuring timely execution of consultant-directed orders.

Key Responsibilities:
Follow up on investigations, radiological tests, and external diagnostic procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate radiological investigations, including CT, MRI, and other imaging studies for assigned patients.
Conduct thorough assessments of assigned patients before rounds.
Obtain informed consent for any procedures performed.
Communicate effectively with patients and attendants for counseling when required.
Coordinate with the on-call team of the primary unit during off-hours for patient-related concerns.
Foster teamwork and collaboration through strong interpersonal skills.
Ensure accurate entry of patient receiving notes in the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
Provide a structured and detailed handover of patients during shift transitions.
Perform duties beyond the ward, including daycare, as required.
Carry out any additional tasks assigned by clinical management for patient care.

MBBS - With Valid PMDC
