Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nutritionist role based in Karachi. The Nutritionist will provide individualized nutritional counseling to patients undergoing obesity and bariatric treatment, including pre- and post-operative diet planning. Daily responsibilities include assessing nutritional status, developing evidence-based meal plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting recommendations in coordination with the multidisciplinary team. The role involves conducting nutrition education sessions, supporting weight management programs, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to patient-centered care pathways that align with the clinic’s clinical protocols.
Qualifications

 

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Dietetics and clinical Nutrition.
• Candidates should possess skills in Nutritional Counseling and one-to-one patient guidance.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Weight Management, including bariatric-related diet planning.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Nutrition Education, group sessions, and patient teaching.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related health science field.
• Experience working in clinical or hospital settings, preferably with obesity or bariatric patients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Strong record-keeping skills, familiarity with medical protocols, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
