Ophthalmologist – Community Outreach Program

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our Community Outreach Program, that provides free eye care services to school students. The ideal candidate will work in Eye Camps and conduct eye screenings, diagnose and treat common ocular conditions, perform minor procedures, and refer patients to PEBS hospital for specialized care where required. This role involves working closely with medical teams, organizing medical camps, and educating the community on eye health.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct eye examinations and diagnose vision problems.
Provide treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses or medication.
Perform minor ophthalmic procedures where necessary.
Collaborate with outreach teams to set up and manage medical camps.
Educate patients about eye health, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
