Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer and SQL Developer with over four years of practical experience in Oracle EBS modules, PL/SQL development, and database optimization. This is a six-month, short-term contractual role based on-site in Karachi and Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle EBS applications while ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity across the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Resource Management System (HRMS), or other related modules. Design and implement complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views to meet business requirements. Perform EBS R12 customizations including extensions, interfaces, conversions, and reports (CEMLI). Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues related to Oracle EBS. Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Optimize SQL queries and database structures to enhance system performance. Develop Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages as needed. Support critical business processes such as month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and system reliability across all EBS modules. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including DBAs and business analysts, to ensure smooth operations. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, design specifications, and unit test plans.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, SQL tuning, and relational database concepts. Proven experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and XML/BI Publisher. Hands-on experience building Interfaces, Conversions, Workflows, and Extensions within Oracle EBS. Solid understanding of core EBS modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Purchase Order (PO), Inventory (INV), and HRMS. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an on-site environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) is considered an advantage. This is a temporary contractual position with a duration of six months. Competitive monthly compensation ranging between Rs. 450,000 and Rs. 600,000 is offered. The role requires on-site presence in Karachi and Lahore, with some travel as necessary.
