Job Description

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting EPC projects by managing the entire sourcing process, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and strict compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Source materials, equipment, and services essential for EPC, automation, electrical, and instrumentation projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and subcontractors both locally and internationally.
- Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate vendor bids, prepare comparative analyses, and assist in finalizing purchase orders.
- Prioritize procurement of long-lead items to protect project schedules.
- Ensure all procured items meet approved datasheets, technical specifications, and contractual terms.
- Coordinate inspections including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Third-Party Inspections (TPI), along with expediting, logistics, and delivery activities.
- Monitor procurement budgets, lead times, and potential risks to maintain control over project progress.
- Maintain detailed procurement trackers and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical disciplines.
- 5 to 8 years of procurement experience within EPC or industrial project environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in OEM sourcing, conducting inspections, managing logistics, and handling procurement processes involving Letters of Credit (LC).
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to coordinate effectively with vendors.
- A project-focused mindset with the ability to meet schedules and deadlines consistently.
- Solid commercial understanding combined with technical knowledge relevant to procurement activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or procurement management systems.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills to ensure clear and concise information flow.
