Role Description

We are seeking a professional to oversee Protection Study Reports for Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems. This is a full-time, remote role that involves conducting detailed analysis of MV and LV protection systems, developing robust reports, and providing insights to enhance system safety and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include working collaboratively to design and review power protection solutions, using advanced software tools for modeling and analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a commitment to excellence and adaptability to the evolving needs of clients and projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Power Systems, Protection Coordination, and Electrical Systems Design
• Proficiency in software tools such as ETAP, or other power system analysis software
• Experience in analysing and preparing Protection Study Reports and recommending effective solutions
• Understanding of MV and LV systems and their operational challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret technical data
• Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation abilities
• Proficient in industry standards, including IEC, and local grid codes
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in renewable energy, islanded systems, or grid power negotiations is a plus
• Self-motivated professional with an ability to work independently in a remote environment.
