We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Manager to lead and oversee the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems across our logistics network. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with QHSE standards, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment across multiple sites, including Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QHSE policies and systems: Lead the development and implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, and systems for the entire logistics network.
Conduct regular inspections and audits: Perform inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, national, and international QHSE regulations.
Lead risk assessments and investigations: Coordinate and lead risk assessments and incident investigations across all sites to ensure continuous safety improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with various departments to ensure continuous improvement of QHSE performance and compliance.
Monitor and report on QHSE performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on QHSE performance for senior management.
Provide leadership and training: Lead and mentor site managers, supervisors, and QHSE personnel, providing training and guidance on safety practices.
Emergency response planning: Ensure the development and regular updating of emergency response plans and conduct safety drills across all sites.
Maintain HSE documentation: Oversee the management of HSE-related documentation, ensuring that it is accurate and up to date, and report to senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.
Update and maintain GHSEApps portal: Ensure all relevant information, documents, and reports are updated regularly on the GHSEApps portal.
Maintain RA & SOP portal: Ensure that risk assessments and standard operating procedures are accessible and regularly updated for ease of use.
Generate QHSE reports: Prepare and generate local, regional, and global QHSE reports, and update the Monthly Safety Environment Report (MSER) on the global portal for all sites.
Coordinate inspection plans: Execute inspection plans according to the established calendar, ensuring that all necessary inspections are conducted on time.
Develop meeting presentations: Prepare QHSE monthly meeting presentations and circulate minutes from these meetings to relevant stakeholders.
Engagement program management: Update the Engagement program scores on the portal after audits and assist champions in addressing any identified issues.
Day-to-day QHSE affairs: Handle day-to-day QHSE inquiries, address safety concerns, and provide guidance to employees as required.
Issue safety alerts: Promptly issue safety alerts when necessary, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and appropriate actions are taken.
Organize QHSE events and campaigns: Assist in organizing and coordinating QHSE events and campaigns, including preparing materials and communicating with participants.
Support QHSE-related projects: Assist in overseeing and executing QHSE-related projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully within the defined timelines and budgets.


Qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent international certification in QHSE management.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in QHSE management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within logistics or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple sites.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across teams.
Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
Proficient in safety management software and MS Office.
Experience in managing HSE operations across multiple sites.
Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and container yard operations.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or OHSAS 18001 certifications.
